Shawnee United Methodist Church allows children to take part in a number of fun activities and connect with other enthusiasts who share a common interest. From games to retreats, you can participate in any event of your choice.

Bible Classes
Every Sunday morning at 9:15am
From birth – adult, we have somewhere where everyone can learn and grow closer to Christ in an age appropriate manner. Children can hear a bible story, make a craft, and play a game all while fellowshipping with children of their own age.
Sunday School
Children, kindergarten through 5th grade are encouraged to begin worship with their families every Sunday during our 10:30 am worship service. Children Sunday School starts at 9:15 am (lead by a Safe Gathering Certified congregation member).
Children experience learning through the Bible and all about God’s love through; scripture based Bible stories, a brief video, crafts, hands on serve projects, music and games.
Annual Events
Please be on the lookout for special annual events for your child(ren). Each year we take time to celebrate special activities such as but not limited to;
– Easter Egg Hunt
– Vacation Bible School (Register Online)
– Pumpkin Patch
Trunk-or-Treat
Registration for some of these is limited so please attend church regularly to stay update to when to register.
